JOB PURPOSE

MSC Cruises, the world's 3rd largest cruise operator, is embarking on an ambitious 10-year investment plan of €13.6 billion. This plan encompasses the construction of up to 17 new digitally advanced ships, state-of-the-art terminals, and other pivotal assets.

We are on the lookout for an IT Technical Project Manager specialized in HR Platforms for our Naples office, our primary service delivery hub.

He/she will have a strong background in HR processes and a keen interest in cutting-edge HR IT solutions.

Ideally, he/she will bring a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and the ability to drive initiatives within our Agile and SAFe Agile frameworks.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Lead the implementation of market-leading HR IT solutions, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget;
  2. Manage projects, reporting to the IT hierarchy, and be responsible for end-to-end delivery to internal and external clients;
  3. Engage with stakeholders across the organization to ensure project outcomes align with business needs, managing expectations and communications with non-technical stakeholders;
  4. Oversee external consultancies and providers, ensuring their contributions are effectively integrated into project objectives;
  5. Apply architectural understanding and API knowledge to guide project decisions and problem-solving;
  6. Ensure adherence to Agile and SAFe methodologies, facilitating continuous improvement and delivery.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  1. Fluent in English (spoken and written);
  2. Bachelor's degree in IT Engineering or a related field; advanced certifications (e.g., PMP, Certified Scrum Master) are highly desirable;
  3. Proven experience in technical project management, particularly with HR IT platforms such as SAP Success Factors, E-Learning Platform, workforce planning;
  4. Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams towards successful project delivery;
  5. Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders;
  6. Strong problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and initiative, with a proven track record of managing projects from inception to completion.
