Application deadline: Jan 19, 2026 The AWS Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking an experienced ProServe Cloud Architect (PCA) to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you will work closely with customers to understand their technical requirements and business objectives, designing and implementing tailored cloud solutions. You will be a key player in the pre-sales process, providing technical expertise and guidance throughout the customer\'s cloud journey. You will be responsible for creating and leading the solution design to address customer business outcomes (CBO), acting as the conduit between ProServe Account Executives and our Product and Solutions SAP CoE team to ensure proposed solutions are realistic, achievable, and optimized to maximize CBOs. As a PCA you will be a trusted advisor to our customers, providing guidance on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions. You will share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, creation of reusable artifacts, and process improvements. Your experience in designing technical solutions within the technology/consulting sector will equip you to architect complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to meet customer needs, translating technical concepts into business value. Your success will be linked to impacting SOW signings and the successful implementation of solutions which achieve CBOs while exceeding CSAT expectations. The AWS Professional Services organization is a global team of experts that help customers realize their desired business outcomes when using the AWS Cloud, collaborating with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives. We provide guidance through a range of offerings and global specialty practices covering a variety of solutions, technologies, and industries. Responsibilities Designing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions to deliver customer business outcomes (CBOs) Providing technical guidance and best practices during pre-sales and implementation phases Collaborating with Account Managers and Customers to ensure proposed solutions are realistic and achievable Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts Basic Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or related field 5+ years of cloud-based solution, system, network and operating system experience (AWS or equivalent) or AWS Associate level certification Experience with software development lifecycle or training and deploying machine learning systems to solve large-scale optimizations 3+ years of experience in SAP technical or functional areas Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, EBS, and S3 Experience with compliance & security standards including PCI DSS, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and NIST Experience in design and implementation of cloud computing technologies Experience in communicating technical concepts to a non-technical audience Advanced technology degree or AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional) preferred Experience in proposing solutions, developing estimates, and responding to requests for information Equal Opportunity Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
