Within Plant Automation & Digital Solutions, the team Data Capturing & Line Solutions is now looking for a Development Engineer that will secure focus and drive on the integration of packaging lines in development projects. As Development Engineer, you will work together with different competences necessary to develop and deploy robust packaging and line solutions, representing the Line Solutions organization and capability.The position is based in Modena and may require some travelling. What you will doAs our new Development Engineer, you will:use your understanding of packaging integration and engineering and your technical leadership abilities to solve technical problems, leading and executing the engineering tasks.work on development of new or improved products/systems, breaking down integration requirements, V&V elaboration and execution in physical rigs or packaging lines, looking to achieve the line production quality and robust integration in the selected environment, using a variety of engineering methods to meet specifications.have technical responsibility for the coordination and execution of specific projects activities, bringing forward new technical insights based upon your original ideas and new innovative approaches to solve problems. In this work, knowledge of the communication protocol technologies, machine to machine interaction and the understanding of the critical interfaces in the Filling Machine and Distribution Equipment are important capabilities. Focus on End to End Quality and packaging solutions integration for our customers is the relevant part of this job.
Collaboration and networking with several organizations is key in this role, so you shall have open-mind and positive approach.We believe you haveWe expect you to have technical education as Master of Science degree in technical discipline, preferably in Software or Automation Engineering with high drive and engagement and natural attitude towards collaboration and networking.have competence in the technical area, related to filling equipment, components, and experience in Verification & Validation for technical complex areas. work autonomously and act as a point of contact for colleagues.apply expert knowledge to solve problems.contribute to improvements and provide input on development.move in a multi-dimensional task (from details to high level picture for the specific area). Combine multiple disciplines covered within D&T, from requirement analysis and break-down to V&V design and execution to network within specialists in our competence area. Collaborations skills, a high willingness to continue to learn and act as technical reference is essential.Since your work will involve multi-countries collaborations, it is important that you have good team-playing skills, very good presentation skills, are result oriented and have very good written and spoken English.You also have personal drive and are independent in the exploration of the given task, taking initiatives and proposing solutions and actions.
