Space Products and Innovation (SPiN) transforms technology into the space industry by simplifying manufacturing. SPiN democratizes access to space, empowering manufacturers to unlock new ventures.Job PurposeThe junior embedded software developer will be part of SPiN's software development team. He/she will support developing, implementing, and maintaining drivers, APIs, and software on MA61C products. This includes designing plug‑and‑play functionalities for new subsystems, improving the existing run time, and validating and verifying the new functionalities.Duties and ResponsibilitiesEmbedded software developmentDevelopment of embedded C++ in space‑borne processorsDevelopment of functions for the API in C++Write test software, scripts for functional tests, HiL tests, and hardware‑software integration testing.Verify and validate the software to meet the project/customer requirementsSupport in software design documentation and test plansSupport in the execution of validation and verification plans, AIT, and HiL testsSupport in generating requirements for the development of the MA61C‑GUI upgradeParticipation in solving interdisciplinary challengesMaintenance of software applications, including fixing bugs, making updates, and addressing issuesQualificationsMaster's in Electrical and Electronics, Computer Science, or similar2+ years of experience in embedded programming C/C++, including projects or internshipsExperience working with microprocessors and microcontrollersKnowledge of real‑time embedded OS, test tools, software and coding standardsExperience working with Eclipse IDEExperience with RTEMS is an advantageKnowledge of digital interfaces such as UART, CAN, I2C, etc is advantageousFamiliarity with version control softwareKnowledge of MBSE tools is an advantageLocationFrascati, Latium, Italy#J-18808-Ljbffr
