We have ambitious vision to simplify full funnel advertising solutions, at scale, with specialized agentic AI-powered models and diversify the demand to strategic verticals including finserv, autos, locals.. etc. We are looking for a Sr Software Development Engineer to help us evolve the tools, services and frameworks we provide. We seek that rare combination of a solid coding background, a proven track record of applying technologies at scale, and a willingness to challenge the status quo and raise the bar on every service and feature we build. Key job responsibilities Deliver Results and Bias for action matter. Own, build, develop and lead the technical components of a business critical initiative to design, develop, launch and maintain advertising solution(s) and service(s) that enables advertisers with simplified AI-powered advertising offerings. We are looking for a someone excited about this technical strategy of engineering and science teams by working closely with a Principal Engineer and Scientists. You will also help mentor SDEs. Basic Qualifications 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $151,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $261,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
