Senior Maintenance & Reliability Engineering Specialist (Embedded Linux / IoT)Location: Bergamo, Italy | Hybrid: 3 days per week onsite, 2 days remote workingStart: Early 2026 | Length: 6 months, renewableOverviewOur client, a leading Italian industrial manufacturer, is seeking a Senior Technical Specialist with strong embedded Linux and MCU experience. You’ll act as the main R&D contact for field issues, coordinating RCA and maintenance activities across hardware, firmware, cloud, and app teams. This role suits an all‑rounder who understands tech end‑to‑end and communicates well across the business.Key ResponsibilitiesManage maintenance and reliability for embedded Linux and legacy MCU‑based products.Handle field reports, drive root‑cause analysis, and coordinate fixes across R&D.Lead internal/external Work Progress Status (SAL) meetings.Align with validation labs, technical support, product quality, and Mobility BU.Monitor product performance, prevent recurring issues, and propose improvements.Contribute to documentation (MRE Knowledge Base) and process optimisation.Skills & ExperienceStrong embedded Linux + microcontroller knowledge.Experience with communication protocols and tools like Wireshark.Familiarity with OCPP and IoT cloud device management.Understanding of HW–SW–Cloud–Mobile App architectures.3–5+ years with IoT/electronic/embedded products; degree in Electronics/Computer/Automation Engineering.Clear communicator with strong coordination, analysis, and problem‑solving skills.Seniority levelAssociateEmployment typeContractJob functionInformation TechnologyIndustries: IT Services and IT Consulting#J-18808-Ljbffr
