About the Role: We are seeking a Fullstack Developer – Mid-Level Engineer to contribute to the development of web platforms, APIs, dashboards, and software tools across our projects. The selected candidate will work directly under senior technical leads (SDEM, TLPM Memoria™, Platform Manager) and collaborate with designers, AI teams, and research groups to build robust, scalable, efficient systems. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical grounding, autonomy, and the desire to grow into a strategic engineering position. Responsibilities: Backend & API Development Develop backend services using Node.Js , Python , Go , or similar Build and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs Integrate databases: SQL/NoSQL, time-series, and cloud-native databases Implement secure authentication (JWT/OAuth2) and user management Frontend Development: Develop responsive interfaces in React , Next.Js , Vue , or similar Collaborate with UI/UX teams to convert designs into functional components Optimize web applications for performance and accessibility Cloud & DevOps: Deploy services using AWS, GCP, or Azure Use Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized microservices Monitor performance, logs, and system reliability Cross-Project Collaboration: Work across Memoria™, Terra™, Oxyleaf™, Whiteboard™, and Polaris™ Collaborate with AI teams for integrations and data flows Contribute to documentation, guidelines, and coding standards Requirements: 3–6 years of experience in fullstack development Strong proficiency with: JavaScript/TypeScript HTML5, CSS3 React or Next.Js Node.Js, Python, or Go Familiarity with at least one cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure ) Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Firebase, Redis…) Understanding of API design, CI/CD, and containerization Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills Fluent in English (Italian is a plus) Preferred Qualifications: Experience with: Microservices architectures Real-time data applications (WebSockets, MQTT) AI/ML integrations or data pipelines Edge computing or IoT-related systems Background in MedTech, environmental tech, or education platforms Contribution to open-source or strong GitHub portfolio Ability to mentor junior developers Benefits Provided: Reimbursement of travel and project-related expenses Access to internal development tools, cloud credits, and institute accounts Work across multiple high-impact innovation projects Possibility to grow into Senior Engineer , Tech Lead , or Platform Manager Opportunity to join the Scientific Committee Board (SCB) if cross-disciplinary expertise emerges How to Apply Please send: Your CV A short motivation letter (max 1 page), in English or Italian, explaining: Your fullstack experience Your preferred stack and notable projects Why you want to join Institute Itech link to portfolio / GitHub (if available) E-mail: Subject: WE2025 Job – Fullstack Developer Mid-Level – (Name Surname) Time Commitment This is a non-paid position during the startup phase , with a minimum commitment of 6–8 hours per week .
