OverviewRenewable Energy Construction | Associate Recruitment Consultant at Piper Maddox | Southern EuropeRole : EPC Project Manager | Solar / BESSLocation: Milan (Hybrid) | Salary: €55,000 to €70,000Overview : We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a leading renewable energy company in Milan. The role requires an engineering background and proven experience in the construction of utility-scale solar assets in Italy. This position offers the chance to be part of an international team delivering some of the country’s most ambitious renewable energy projects, with a pipeline of over 3GW and individual solar farms over 50MW. You would be working at the centre of one of Italy’s largest and fastest-growing IPPs, supporting the energy transition with strong career development opportunities.ResponsibilitiesManage utility scale projects from inception to completion, ensuring schedules, budgets and scope are adhered to.Collaborate with design and engineering teams to review key documents from clients and developers.Support with budget control, contract management and QHSE standards.Develop and track detailed programme of works (PoW).Perform site surveys to establish local conditions, design constraints and supply costs.Key Skills and QualificationsMinimum of 3 years experience managing utility-scale solar construction.Proven track record leading construction teams and monitoring budgets & timelines.A degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
