Supplier quality engineer shall drive quality for assigned suppliers, including quality plan implementation. Own supplier audits and product qualification, ensuring compliance. Drive supplier results and improvements according to the company KPIs targets. Essential Responsibilities Supplier Quality Assurance and Supplier Quality Development Act as primary interface between supplier and GE Avio Aero for any quality issues. Work in collaboration with Sourcing and Engineering, Manufacturing to eliminate roadblocks and barrier. Develop compliance solutions to complex problems. Lead RCCA process Approve supplier selection through robust qualification processes and part qualification. Ensure that suppliers comply with quality requirements, including technical regulation and standards by owning the surveillance and perform quality audits Proactive monitoring of the performance of suppliers to ensure that they remain in a state of control Leading the effort to drive improvement and for the development & assessment of quality metrics, KPIs and reports associated with suppliers Suppliers Quality Plan implementation All other duties as assigned by manager Qualifications/Requirements Master's degree in Mechanics or Materials/Chemical engineering with metallurgical orientation Previous experience in the same role in automotive or aerospace companies Experience/knowledge of forging and casting processes Ability to read fluently technical drawing and regulations Basic knowledge of Quality tools Basic knowledge of measurement method and inspection technique Fluency in English and Italian Availability to frequent travel, EU and abroad Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required Desired Characteristics Ability to work in a global environment Leadership with suppliers duties Strong oral and written communication skills Interpersonal and teamwork skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
