Overview Join us in revolutionizing the future of Living Room device testing at Prime Video. Living Room Device Services (LRDS) enables automated testing across 800+ living room device types globally through our Device Farm infrastructure, providing programmatic control and remote access for Amazon teams worldwide. You'll manage the team that develops AI-powered tools and AWS-based solutions that simplify test debugging, device access, and performance evaluation across our distributed device ecosystem. You'll be at the forefront of building solutions for our Device Farm - a platform that enables automated testing across more than 800 devices across the Living Room EcoSystem. Responsibilities Lead and manage a team developing AI-powered tools and AWS-based solutions to simplify test debugging, device access, and performance evaluation across a distributed device ecosystem. Build and maintain the Device Farm platform enabling automated testing across 800+ devices. Bridge between Device Farm customers and innovation, gathering feedback and informing feature enhancements. Collaborate with AWS technologies and coordinate physical devices and virtual emulators to deliver exceptional living room experiences. Basic Qualifications 7+ years of engineering experience 3+ years of engineering team management experience 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and live-site operations Experience partnering with product or program management teams Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems Preferred Qualifications Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills and effectiveness Knowledge of working with devices Experience with testing platforms, frameworks and best practices Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
