Brief Job Description
The Supply Planning Manager leads the newly established Supply Planning team within the EMEA SI&OP organization. This role is accountable for bridging demand planning with manufacturing execution, owning the regional workload-vs-capacity process as the single source of truth, and ensuring SI&OP volumes are effectively translated into actionable supply plans across all EMEA plants.
Responsibilities and Measurement Criteria with Time investment Needed on Each
- Lead and develop the Supply Planning team (Strategic Planning Analysts, Tactical Planning Analysts), ensuring clear priorities, professional growth, and cross-functional alignment.
- Own the workload-vs-capacity finalization for the EMEA region, acting as the single source of truth (AME owns capacity; SI&OP owns workload).
- Represent the “supply side” in all SI&OP meetings, ensuring plant constraints, supplier feedback, and capacity realities are factored into consensus plans.
- Drive and oversee the usage of SI&OP volumes into execution, ensuring seamless handoff from planning to operations.
- Lead the Big Bets (“what-if”) process, including demand collection, workload planning, and collaboration with AME, Procurement, and Finance to build investment business cases.
- Steer strategic workload allocation across multiple plants, IS projects, ICO, and NPDI initiatives.
- Coordinate supplier constraint feedback to and from Procurement, linking SI&OP governance to strategic purchasing decisions.
- Direct involvement in Large/Top Projects workstreams, ensuring supply planning considerations are embedded early.
- Lead NPDI discussions from a supply perspective, mediating plant feedback and ensuring new product ramp-ups are capacity-feasible.
- Maintain a weekly cadence with Sales Leadership, AME, and Procurement to ensure alignment across the tactical and strategic horizons.
- Run Six Sigma projects (Green Belt, possibly Black Belt) to drive continuous improvement in planning processes.
- Support the Kinaxis implementation for SI&OP, ensuring the tool supports end-to-end planning integration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in supply/operations planning, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional planning teams.

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
