15th-Century Naples: Greek-Latin Classics in Propaganda

The Dipartimento Studi Umanistici - Università di Napoli Federico II invites applications for a research fellowship in European literature. The project investigates the circulation of Greek and Latin manuscripts in fifteenth-century Aragonese Naples and how classical authors are used in anti-Ottoman propaganda.

It will examine translations from Greek, orations, pamphlets and poetic works, and analyze how manuscript transmission shaped literary and political discourses in Naples.
