As a Salesforce Developer 1, you'll help shape the future of ad tech while contributing to Amazon's digital transformation journey.Key job responsibilitiesLearn and develop solutions in Salesforce.com using Force.com, APEX, Lightning Web Components, Web Services, and APIs under mentorshipAssist in evaluating and implementing solutions through configuration, code, or existing Salesforce products with guidance from senior team membersCollaborate with tech leads to understand architectural decisions and implement code according to established patterns and best practicesBuild foundational knowledge of Salesforce configuration vs. customization approachesSupport integration efforts between Salesforce and other systems, including AWS, with supervision from experienced developersWork alongside product owners to understand business requirements and help implement solutions that enhance user experienceContribute to requirements gathering and analysis sessions, learning how to translate business needs into technical solutions on the Salesforce platformHelp identify and resolve technical debt through code reviews and refactoring exercises under senior developer guidanceA day in the lifeYou'll work on a cross functional team of Salesforce practitioners and Product stakeholders that owns the end‑to‑end user experience for a key application in the Advertising organization fleet of tools. You'll partner with business users to refine requirements, and your team mates to design and implement new features. We're a team of builders and innovators focused on transforming how Amazon launches and manages high-value advertising campaigns through intelligent automation. Our mission is to revolutionize advertising operations by combining the latest in AI technology with deep business knowledge.Basic QualificationsExperience in automating, deploying, and supporting infrastructureExperience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, RustExperience with Linux/Unix2+ years of hands‑on engineering experience on the Force.com platformSalesforce development experience using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning component frameworks, triggers, batch apex and Salesforce APIs at a large organizationPreferred QualificationsExperience with CI/CD pipelines build processesPrior experience with AdvertisingOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
