Company OverviewSPACE INDUSTRIES is a dynamic and rapidly growing company operating in the aerospace sector, with a strong commitment to innovation, reliability, and mission excellence.The company supports complex space programs and provides end-to-end mission operations, ensuring high standards of performance and operational success.Position OverviewSpace Industries S.p.A., a leading aerospace company specializing in the assembly, integration, and testing (AIT) of small satellites, is seeking an experienced RF / EMC Specialist Engineer to manage and execute Radio Frequency (RF) and ElectroMagnetic Compatibility (EMC) testing campaigns within the company’s anechoic test facility.The selected candidate will be responsible for planning, performing, and analyzing RF and EMC tests on satellite platforms, subsystems, and payloads, ensuring full compliance with ECSS standards, customer specifications, and space program requirements.This position requires strong expertise in RF measurements, EMC / EMI testing, and anechoic chamber operations, combined with a deep understanding of space hardware testing procedures.Main ResponsibilitiesPlan, execute, and document RF and EMC test campaigns for small satellites and related equipment in accordance with ECSS and customer requirements.Operate anechoic test facilities and associated instrumentation (spectrum analyzers, signal generators, antennas, EMI receivers, LISNs, amplifiers).Define and implement test setups, wiring configurations, and instrumentation layouts.Perform EMI / EMC, RF performance, antenna pattern, and radiated susceptibility tests.Ensure compliance with applicable ECSS-E-ST-20-07, MIL-STD-461, and project‑specific test standards.Analyze and interpret test data, identify anomalies, and prepare detailed test reports.Collaborate with AIT, Engineering, and Product Assurance teams for test planning and troubleshooting.Maintain calibration and functionality of RF and EMC test equipment.Support test readiness reviews (TRR) and participate in project reviews (TRB, QR, FR).Ensure adherence to safety procedures and cleanroom / ESD requirements.Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methodologies and facility capabilities.QualificationsDegree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Aerospace Engineering, or related fields.Minimum 5 years of experience in RF and EMC testing within the aerospace or high-reliability sector.Proven experience with anechoic chamber operations and RF measurement systems.In‑depth knowledge of ECSS, MIL‑STD, and ESA / ASI test standards.Hands‑on experience with test equipment (spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, RF amplifiers, antennas, EMI receivers).Strong understanding of RF systems, antennas, and EMC / EMI phenomena.Proficiency in data analysis, test reporting, and root cause investigation.Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage complex test setups independently.Good communication skills and ability to work in a cross‑functional team.Good command of English (written and spoken).Holder of a valid category B driving license.Preferred QualificationsExperience in Small Satellite or ESA / ASI programs.Familiarity with satellite payloads and RF communication subsystems.Knowledge of test automation tools and scripting (e.g. LabVIEW, Python).Certification or training in EMC / RF testing or ECSS test standards.What We OfferA dynamic and stimulating work environment.Opportunities for professional growth and development.Metalmeccanico (CCNL) with compensation based on experience and skills.Why Join UsA unique opportunity for professional growth in a young and dynamic aerospace company.The chance to work on innovative projects with a global impact in the small satellite sector.A stimulating and collaborative environment, with the opportunity to contribute to shaping the company's future strategies.SPACE INDUSTRIES is committed to promoting diversity and inclusion within its workplace and welcomes applications from all qualified individuals, regardless of ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic.#J-18808-Ljbffr
