OverviewSoftware Service Engineer role at Swisslog. Join to apply for the Software Service Engineer position. ResponsibilitiesYou will provide customers with assistance in case of software incidents within defined contracts. You will identify and analyze recurrent problems found at customer’s sites and think out an action plan to solve anomalous situations (bug fixing, development of new functionalities, optimizations, etc.). You will be responsible for new software deployments (both remotely and on-site) within predefined time slots agreed with customers. You will be in charge to manually execute software integration tests (both in-house and on-site) and support off-shore developed software systems. You will work on rotational shifts, including nights and weekends. What you need to succeedYou bring several years of previous experience in a commercial software development environment. You have a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, related subject or equivalent. You have a good understanding of Java (SE, EE). You have a good knowledge of SQL programming. You are proficient in Object Oriented Analysis and Design. You have a good understanding of relational database concepts and architecture (preferably MS SQL Server / Oracle). You are fluent in Italian and English.
