Role Overview We are seeking a highly motivated CAD Layout Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with senior engineers to develop automated layout generation tools, enhance internal design workflows, and build interfaces with commercial CAD software platforms. This position offers the opportunity to work on innovative RF and MEMS technologies in a fast-paced and supportive environment. Responsibilities Develop and maintain automated layout generation code in collaboration with senior engineering staff Create interfaces and extensions for commercial CAD tools, supporting integration and automation Collaborate with design, simulation, and layout teams to refine requirements and deliver high-quality layout solutions Prepare clear documentation, reports, and presentations on design flow enhancements and layout methodologies Required Qualifications Proficiency in Python (preferred) or strong experience with another programming language Prior experience with IC or MEMS layout design Hands-on knowledge of KLayout (macro development, PCells, scripting, or automation) Strong understanding of CAD flows, layout methodologies, and physical design constraints Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal Strong reporting, documentation, and teamwork abilities Preferred Qualifications Experience with RF, MEMS, or acoustic-based devices Familiarity with additional CAD or EDA tools Experience integrating or automating commercial software workflows Why Join Us At Spectron Microsystems, you’ll be part of a pioneering team shaping the future of RF filtering technology.
