Offer Description

This research focuses on the rational design, chemical synthesis, and optimization of small-molecule inhibitors targeting the different NADPH oxidase (NOX) isoforms. Activities include hit-to-lead optimization through structure–activity relationship (SAR) studies, rational drug design, and molecular modeling to improve potency, isoform selectivity, and drug‑like properties. The project also involves the multistep synthesis, purification, and structural characterization of novel compounds, followed by their biological evaluation to identify selective NOX inhibitors as potential therapeutic agents for oxidative stress‑related diseases.
