In this role, you will be responsible for programming and testing Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and Robots. This role requires expertise in interpreting engineering technical drawings, developing inspection programs/ robot programs, and collaborating with engineering and production teams to meet quality standards.Job DescriptionEssential ResponsibilitiesDevelop and validate CMM programs (Zeiss, Hexagon), both off-line and directly on the machineDevelop and validate Robot Part Program (ABB, Kuka, Fanuc)Read and interpret drawings and other quality control requirements using Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)Ensure programs are optimized for efficiency and accuracyWork closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve technical issuesProvide feedback on design and manufacturing processes to improve quality and reduce defectsSupport root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conforming partsTroubleshoot and resolve equipment issues as needed.Support shop operations to guarantee Safety, Quality, Delivery and CostQualifications/RequirementsMaster degree in Engineering or a high school diploma with an exensie experience in Engineering or Manufacturing EngineeringPCDMIS or Calypso programming proven experience for aerospace parts and assembliesBlueprint Reading and Interpretation: Ability to read mechanical drawings, understand geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), and technical specificationsPrevious experience with Robot programming (ABB, Kuka, Fanuc)Fluent in Italian and EnglishWork Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is requiredDesired CharacteristicsKnowledge of CNC programming for machining (turning, milling)Knowledge of CAM and CAD systemFamiliarity with aerospace or automotive industry standards.Knowledge of military and commercial main component repair processesKnowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologiesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong interpersonal and leadership skillsCMM programming certifications are a plusHumble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learnTransparent: shares critical information, speaks with candor, contributes constructivelyFocused: quick learner, strategically prioritizes work, committed GE Aerospace offersWhat we offerSmart working and work life-balanceAvio Aero, when possible, promotes remote work and encourages a good, healthy and satisfying work-life balance.
