Job Description Work location: Piossasco (TO) Who will you be working with? You will work for Annax, a Wabtec site specialized in Passenger Information Systems for long and short distance trains, trams and subways. You will work at our site in Piossasco (TO) and support our projects in close cooperation with System Engineers and Developers. How will you make a difference? As a System Integrator & Test Engineer you will drive the integration of complex individual systems, write and execute tests for errors and weaknesses and systematically document the analyses. What will your typical day look like?
- Integration of individual components into perfectly functioning overall solutions.
- Preparing test system, in coordination with the software developers, for comprehensive release tests.
- Development of test concepts/specifications, test automation, planning of test facilities and execution of extensive system tests of our software.
- Error analysis, diagnostics, and commissioning with the customer, remote and on site
- Customer training for maintenance and commissioning
- Degree in electrical, electronic or computer engineering.
- +5 years experience with distributed embedded systems with IP communication.
- Experience in implementing software tests on embedded systems and experience in test automation.
- Experience in planning and executing complex test tasks.
- Proficiency with Linux and networking (DHCP, DNS, VLAN, routing)
- Knowledge in the areas of virtualization (Docker/Vagrant/VirtualBox), scripting (Python, Shell), IT security, cryptography and troubleshooting are advantageous.
- Professional proficiency of English, Italian and German languages.

- The current salary for this role ranges from €35,800 to €47,500. The actual salary offered to the candidate may be influenced by various factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands, and work location. The base salary range is subject to change and may be reviewed in the future.
