Senior Financial Analyst, Amazon Advertising

The Amazon Advertising Finance team seeks a curious, analytical and driven Senior Financial Analyst to be a key business partner to the US Large Customer Sales team for this rapidly growing business. The successful candidate will own end-to-end business support for Large Customer Sales and working across all verticals. This individual will be responsible for leading the business reviews including measuring and driving focus on our key input metrics and health of the business. The successful candidate will have the ability to tackle multiple projects and efficiently execute deliverables. The right individual will have strong communication skills and solid business acumen capable of driving results and improving processes. The successful candidate must be able to think and act both strategically and tactically. Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem‑solve and prioritize.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport revenue planning for forecasts and annual planningBuilds, iterates, and automates financial reports, metrics, and scorecards to support short and long‑term planningOwns weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting of financial performance at global, regional, and country levelsAd hoc business supportClose partnership with customer‑facing sales teams, sales operations, and finance BI resources to support insight generation and influence decision makingBasic Qualifications3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experienceBachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)Experience in financial modeling, P&L management or analysisExperience participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable resultsPreferred QualificationsMBA, or CPAKnowledge of TableauExperience working with large‑scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market.
