Dematic is looking for a talented PLC Engineer to be hired with a permanent contract for Dematic Customer Service for its distribution Center in San Vittore di Cesena. We Offer Career Development Competitive Compensation and Benefits Pay Transparency Global Opportunities Responsibilities Design and develop the software packages created "ad hoc" according to specific client’s needs (starting from May 2027). Provide support for technical issues about automated warehouse. Liaise with electrical, software and mechanical colleagues. Provide on-site and remote assistance service to the final customer. Collaborate with other colleagues. Interface with the customer representative. Medium‑term Goals Become the focal point for the Service Contract. Candidate Requirements Have a real passion and enthusiasm for innovation and software development. At least 1 year of experience in the industrial automation field. Good experience in the development/programming PLC and in the use of the main automation SW Siemens (S7 and TIA Portal) or other PLCs. Good understanding of fieldbus systems and I/O equipment, e.g. Profibus and Profinet. Bachelor’s / Three Years Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Mechatronics, Automation, Electrical Engineering or Technical Diploma. Good knowledge of Italian and English written and spoken.
