Hays Italy, part of the multinational Hays group, a company listed on the London Stock Exchange, which offers consulting services in the Information Technology sector with the aim of contributing to the success and technological progress of individuals and companies, is looking for aSenior Cloud Engineer – OpenStackwith proven experience in designing & implementing complex cloud infrastructures based on OpenStack & in managing automation through Terraform & Ansible Kolla . The role involves working within structured project environments, covering all operational phases: detailed design, implementation, standardization, documentation & handover/testing with operational teams. Field : provider of complex proprietary cloud platformsKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop detailed designs for cloud solutions aligned with engineering architecture guidelinesImplement cloud infrastructures based on OpenStack & develop automation using Ansible Kolla & TerraformStandardize configurations, procedures & operational processesPrepare technical documentation , including operational guides , technical diagrams & standardsConduct testing & handover activities to operational teamsCollaborate with cross - functional teams to ensure project successContribute to the continuous improvement of cloud platformsRequirements5+ years of experience as a Cloud EngineerBackground as a Systems Engineer , with strong expertise in Linux systems & distributed infrastructuresIn-depth knowledge of OpenStackAdvanced experience with Terraform & KollaExperience with private cloud or proprietary CSP environmentsAdvanced troubleshooting skillsLocation: completely full remote – Italy-basedFreelancers are highly welcomed tooCandidates of any gender identity , after reviewing the mandatory privacy notice available at are kindly requested to submit their CV in PDF format, quoting the reference number (Ref. --- ).
