Graduate Environmental Geologist at AECOM Overview AECOM is seeking a highly motivated Geologist to join the Environment Team. You will participate in large-scale environmental and civil engineering projects, including complex remediation projects, collaborating with colleagues across the company to support project needs. You will have opportunities to work on diverse projects that challenge you technically and support your growth in the industry. Responsibilities Supervision of field activities (surveys and tests, investigations, remediation works, etc.) Monitoring and sampling of environmental matrices (soil, groundwater, soil gas, etc.) following national and international standards (US-EPA, ASTM, etc.) Collection of geological, hydrogeological, and environmental data Support monitoring and maintenance of remediation systems and activities; GIS management of environmental data Development of collected data with models (e.g., hydrogeological, hydraulic) Processing and interpretation of data collected on site Preparation, revision, and updating of environmental technical reports Contribute to design in remediation and environmental safety measures Coordinate external collaborators and subcontractors Support the Project Manager and Project Team in the development of environmental projects Maintain a high level of Health and Safety awareness and Quality management Qualifications 0-2 years’ experience in a consulting company with fieldwork experience preferred Fluency in Italian and English Interest in geotechnical, remediation, and environmental projects Motivation, initiative, and organizational skills to work effectively in a busy multi-disciplinary environment Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing project demands Good communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to maintain good records of site-based activities Strong attention to detail and willingness to travel nationally for site visits Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel Licensed to drive a vehicle in ITA (essential) Preferred Qualifications Geology degree Additional Information What we offer: Attractive Compensation Package: Competitive salary with benefits including hybrid work, meal vouchers, welfare program, well-being resources, gym memberships, health insurance, laptop, smartphone, employee assistance program, business travel insurance, service recognition awards, and a pension savings plan.
