Job DescriptionHow you’ll contribute Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Finance Manager will act as a strategic financial advisor to the Italian business. You’ll collaborate closely with commercial teams, tax advisors, and external auditors, while owning budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analyses. This role is perfect for someone with a few years’ experience at a Consulting/Audit firm, ideally followed by exposure to a commercial finance environment, who’s looking to step into a highly visible in-house finance business partnering role. Foster a culture of compliance and risk awareness to support the achievement of company objectives. Key Responsibilities Interface with external tax advisors and auditors , coordinating documentation and delivering clear explanations of our financials Monitor actual performance vs. budget/forecast , identify variances, and propose corrective actions Support the budgeting and forecasting processes for Italy Partner with Sales, Marketing and Operations to translate business objectives into financial targets, KPIs, and actionable insights Support compliance with Italian tax legislation and corporate governance requirements in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders Support ad hoc projects, including M&A due diligence, cost optimization initiatives, and system implementations Promote and maintain a collaborative relationship between the Italian business and the Global Finance functions, ensuring seamless cooperation and information flow QualificationsWe are looking for Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field At least 5 years of experience in Finance, ideally in a Consulting/Audit firm and in a financial controller role Strong technical foundation in accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and financial modeling Comfort working in a fast-paced scale-up environment, managing multiple priorities with a high degree of autonomy Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and translate complex financial data into clear business-focused insights Hands-on experience liaising with external auditors and tax advisors Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills High level of ownership, proactivity, and curiosity Fluent in English and Italian Additional InformationWhat we offer: Total compensation aligned with your experience Stock options Plan after 6 months Welfare for you and your family Ticket restaurant Self care platform access Smartworking policy, based in Rome #J-18808-Ljbffr
