Freelance Opportunity: Network & Device EngineerLocation: Milan, Italy (Onsite – 5 days/week) ️ Start Date: ASAP Duration: Indefinite (long-term mission) Daily Rate (TJM): Competitive Role Overview We are seeking a Network & Device Tester to take ownership of the development and release of software packages related to EU, CPE, and RAN. This role involves hands-on testing, log analysis, vendor coordination, and laboratory support, ensuring robust performance and compliance across 2G/4G/5G systems. Key Responsibilities Collect and analyze logs, manage faults with suppliers Draft, update, and execute testlists Provide RAN laboratory support in collaboration with Core, IMS, and other technical teams Coordinate VAPT (Vulnerability & Penetration Test) activities between vendors and the Security team Apply in-depth knowledge of RAN & FWA technologies aligned with 3GPP specifications (2G/4G/5G NSA & SA) Utilize UEs tools such as QXDM, ELT, HIDS Demonstrate strong protocol knowledge across 2G/4G/5G systems Profile Minimum 2 years' experience in device testing or similar role Strong background in RAN/FWA technologies and 3GPP standards Hands-on expertise with QXDM, ELT, HIDS tools System administrator qualifications (handling sensitive data) Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Languages: Italian (C1) and English (B2) Additional Information Workplace: Milan (onsite only, no remote option) Travel: Not required PC: Provided by supplier Contract Type: Freelance This is a fantastic opportunity for freelance professionals to contribute to cutting-edge telecom projects, working onsite in Milan with a dynamic technical team. #FreelanceOpportunity #DeviceTester #TelecomJobs #RAN #FWA #3GPP #MilanJobs #SoftwareTesting #NetworkTesting #HiringNow #FreelanceLife
