Step into a purposeful, hands-on role as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Long-Term Care and imagine the lasting difference you’ll make in the lives of residents, their families, and your dedicated care team. In Genoa, Nebraska, you’ll bring warmth, dignity, and expert nursing to a community that values compassionate care and stable, respectful relationships. Nebraska’s wide skies, endless prairies, and welcoming towns provide a backdrop where your professional pride can thrive and your weekends invite outdoor recreation, quiet reflection, and time with loved ones. From the rolling farmland to peaceful river valleys, Nebraska offers a tapestry of landscapes and experiences that reflect the steady, grounded pace of meaningful long‑term care. Working in Genoa means joining a community that supports you with a positive, collaborative culture, accessible resources, and a sense of belonging. The locale blends close‑knit relationships with strong regional healthcare networks, making it easy to deliver high‑quality resident care while enjoying a manageable commute and affordable living. For those who crave broader horizons, this travel assignment also presents opportunities to work at facilities across the U.S., expanding your clinical expertise and exposing you to diverse resident populations, care models, and best practices—all while maintaining your focus on long‑term care and geriatric well‑being. Responsibilities As an LPN in Long‑Term Care, your daily responsibilities will center on compassionate, patient‑centered care that upholds resident safety, comfort, and independence. You’ll administer medications and treatments within scope, monitor vitals, assist with activities of daily living, and support wound and skin care, balance assessments with nursing notes, and communicate changes promptly to the supervising RN. You’ll contribute to care planning, participate in interdisciplinary team rounds, help with admission and discharge processes, and maintain accurate documentation that informs ongoing care. Your role also includes safeguarding resident dignity, preventing falls, supporting nutritional needs, and delivering emotional support to residents and families. This position offers pathways for professional growth in geriatric care, wound care, chronic disease management, and potential leadership tracks within a supportive, learning‑driven environment. Compensation Compensation reflects the value of your expertise and the opportunity to grow. The pay package for this travel assignment is structured to be competitive, with weekly pay ranging from $1,258 to $1,347, and guaranteed hours of 36 per week. The start date is 02/11/2026, and the assignment runs for a number of weeks tailored to facility needs, with flexible extensions based on performance and mutual interest. Beneficial add‑ons include a sign‑on or performance bonus, housing assistance to ease transition, and options to extend the assignment beyond the initial period, giving you continued exposure to different facilities and care teams. In addition, you’ll receive robust support designed for traveling healthcare professionals, including 24/7 assistance from the company’s travel support team, helping with housing, logistics, credentialing, and on‑the‑ground coordination so you can focus on patient care. Benefits The company’s values center on empowering staff, with a clear commitment to career advancement and a supportive, collaborative work environment. You’ll be encouraged to develop professionally, take on new responsibilities, and pursue continuing education, with mentors and peers invested in your success. This is more than a job—it’s a community that celebrates your contributions, recognizes your growth, and provides a platform for you to expand your clinical skills while maintaining a healthy work‑life balance.
