OverviewWithin GOSP - Generali Operations Service Platform, we are looking for a Buyer to be included in the Italian Real Estate & Facility Management Procurement Team; this Team has the responsibility for steering the procurement of all the Capex and Facility Management related services for all Generali Italian Legal Entities (new developments, refurbishments, maintenance, cleaning, catering, security, furniture...).The mentioned Team has the mandate and is accountable for developing and steering the procurement strategies in alignment to the overall Generali Procedures and Guidelines, by delivering sustainable reductions in the total cost of goods and services procured, with simultaneous improvements in the quality, competitiveness and service levels of the supply base.It is also responsible for both internal stakeholders management and suppliers management activities.Searched resource will perform all activities related to procurement process (scouting of new providers, purchase request management, verification and completion of tender documentation, vendor list definition, tender management, purchase order issuing, etc).ResponsibilitiesScouting and assessment of potential new suppliers. He/She will contribute to the strategic and continuous scouting with the aim to provide a rotation of the engaged providers and the best market selection of technical professional services (architects, engineers, technical consultants) and construction and/or FM services companiesManage purchasing demand. He/She will perform in an accurate, timely and proactive manner all the activities related to the procurement of professional services, works and FM services for Real Estate. He/She will work closely with the local internal stakeholders to manage all the phases of the procurement processCreate value in sourcing initiatives. He/she will be particularly focused on guaranteeing a high quality level in every single stage of the procurement activities. He/She will check and revise the technical documentation with the requesting stakeholders, curing the completion and the final implementation of the tender documents. He/She will also define and propose the participants short lists, prepare the approval documents and manage the tender commission activities strictly following Generali Procedures and Guidelines. He/She will guarantee the compliance and the transparency of all the process, from the receiving of the purchase request, to the collection of all the authorizations, to the final writing and approval of the contractsMonitor savings and timing, reporting. He/She will be responsible to get the best technical and economic conditions from every procurement activity; he/she will also pursue the saving and time to market targets defined year by year. He/She must act in a flexible and proactive manner, being able to reschedule programs and priorities as per internal and/or stakeholders' needs, following the indication of the Head of RE & FM Italy.
