Delivery Consultant - Migration and Modernization, EMEA IT SDT Join us to apply for the Delivery Consultant - Migration and Modernization, EMEA IT SDT role at Amazon Web Services (AWS) . Description The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking an experienced Delivery Consultant to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet customers’ technical requirements and business objectives. You will be a key player in driving customer success throughout the cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices across the project lifecycle. We are a global team of experts that help customers realize desired business outcomes using the AWS Cloud. Our work involves execution of enterprise cloud computing initiatives, collaboration with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network, and delivery of focused guidance through global specialty practices. Key Job Responsibilities Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs. Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery. Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies. Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies. Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts. Basic Qualifications 5+ years of project experience delivering large‑scale migration programs with hands‑on expertise in two or more of the following domains: migration strategy design, migration business case creation, application portfolio analysis, application assessment, migration process design, migration tool implementation, migration execution, or operational integration. Experience driving discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, project management, and risk mitigation. Experience delivering IT strategy and consulting services, and hands‑on experience leading the design, development, and deployment of business software at scale. Experience with automation, scripting (e.g., Terraform, Python), and application migration and modernization. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences. Preferred Qualifications Hands‑on experience migrating applications from on‑premises to the AWS Cloud, including the use of migration tools (e.g., CloudEndure, Carbonite Migrate, Zerto, VMware HCX). Familiarity with the AWS platform and its compute, storage, networking, and migration services. Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in a technical field such as Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, or Math. Understanding of on‑premises technologies and cloud architecture patterns that leverage load balancing, horizontal scalability, and high availability. Experience designing and modernizing applications using container, serverless technologies, and event‑driven architecture. Experience in architecting, designing, and developing applications on the AWS platform. About the Team AWS values diverse experiences.
