We are a family owned and operated company in Palmyra, MO, USA, directly located on Hwy 61.Purpose of JobThis position works in a warehouse or production facility and is responsible for packing, labeling, and organizing multiple products into a single package/pallet, also known as a kit. This role will also handle the storage and movement and delivery of the kitted supplies to various departments throughout the facility.Role and ResponsibilitiesThe role of Warehouse worker is to prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule.Perform inventory controls to keep high quality standards and accurate inventory counts and report any discrepancies.Prepare kits of material for the production areas of the plantOrganize and label outgoing parts into the correct storage areas.Participate in general housekeeping duties such as sweeping, discarded material and cardboardLabel kitted material with identifying tags and/or marks them with pertinent informationParticipate in continues improvement processes/problem solvingCommunicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkersOrganize and sort items on shelving, bins, and overhangs according to company standardsQualifications and Education RequirementsAbility to lift 50 poundsAbility to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods and working primarily standingExperience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detailInterpersonal skills are essential, as working as a team is vital to maintaining and organized warehouseExperience using a forklift and professional forklift certification is strongly preferredRecord keeping skills necessary to provide accurate information for managers and supervisors regarding warehouse inventoryAbility to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks according to their importanceWorking ConditionsNormally working on the plant floor, which includes manual labor. Will at times be exposed to heat, cold, inclement weather, noise, vibration, welding sparks, grease, oil, and diesel fuel.#J-18808-Ljbffr
