This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with Amazon corporate accounting teams across APAC to ensure high quality and timely deliverables in the statutory and financial compliance space. Strong organizational skills and information technology aptitude. ResponsibilitiesSupport the Management in all aspects of financial accounting, reporting systems, procedures and policiesMake sure the proper reconciliation of accounts, resolve and close open items on timeLead projects that contribute to the team\'s overall efficiencyAnalyze data provided by variant tools and systems for internally financial analysis, reporting and documentationPlay an important role in promoting systems / process development within department to ensure ongoing efficiency and control improvementsBasic QualificationsBachelor\'s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)5+ years of finance or a related analytical field experienceExperience with SQL and advanced ExcelExperience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis, or experience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processesFluent in business English, both verbal and writtenPreferred QualificationsMBA, or CPA4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experienceKnowledge of TableauExperience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples : SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples : Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
