VMs work with vendors of all sizes and represent Amazon at all leadership levels, across multiple internal teams to address customer experience issues within the category. Skills include data analytics, account management, brand development, and ad sales. You will work with e-commerce leaders.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop analytical and problem‑solving skills to support vendor managers and other Amazonians, such as in‑stock and marketing functions.Build understanding of customer pain points, requirements, and potential value through advertising or merchant services.Identify target accounts using market data and industry intelligence.Learn Amazon's advertising or merchant services portfolio and culture.Identify opportunities to improve products, services, processes, systems, and tools.Work with cross‑functional teams, including category, product, and technical support teams, to implement improvement projects.Support vendor managers in providing a suite of services that support Amazon's strategic brands.Basic Qualifications5+ years of account management, project or program management, or buying experience.Bachelor's degree.Knowledge of Microsoft Access or SQL.Experience driving internal cross‑team collaboration.Experience using data to influence business decisions.Experience with business analysis and P&L management.Preferred QualificationsExperience driving direction and alignment with cross‑functional teams.Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. The base pay for this position ranges from $109,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
