OverviewSenior Electrical Schematics Engineer – Napoli, Campania, IT. Full-time position based in Napoli. ResponsibilitiesDevelop, integrate, and document electric design using computer-aided engineering tools. Size electrical lines with optimization of equipment cabling to reduce assembly time.
Analyze specifications to discern a viable plan from information provided and elaborate feasibility. Define the conceptual solution and architecture of the Electrical System based on requirements and vehicle configuration. Verify and ensure traceability of requirements using DOORS. Support purchasing during the procurement phase of materials and subsystems.
Support industrial engineering and production during vehicle assembly. Provide support to other engineering groups, production operations, suppliers, and customers throughout the product life cycle within Global Product Lifecycle Management (GPLM). Carry out any other responsibilities assigned by the Reporting Manager. Required Skills / KnowledgeProven electrical design experience in electro-mechanical industries (preferably Railway Domain).
Degree in Electrical / Electrotechnical Engineering. Excellent readiness of electrical schematics and drawings. Knowledge of computer-aided electrical engineering tools; E3 series Zuken preferred, or knowledge of See Electrical Expert tool. Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Visio, Access).
Knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes. Strong teamwork, problem-solving, attention to detail, and organizational/communication skills. Italian mother tongue is mandatory; English language required for multicultural environment (at least C1 level). Ability to manage and plan assigned tasks independently and within a team; ability to analyze business requirements and processes; ability to liaise with internal and external functions (internal customers, suppliers, customers, partners).
Planning and organization; willingness to learn and stay up-to-date with technology and industry practices; strong business acumen and technical skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work in an international, multicultural environment. Education / QualificationsDegree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical background. LanguagesGood knowledge of written and spoken English (C1 level) is mandatory.
