TMEIC was established in 2003 through the integration of the industrial systems divisions of Toshiba Corporation and Mitsubishi Electric Corporation.General Role DescriptionResponsible for negotiating purchases as directed by Senior Buyer or ManagerResponsible for issuance of RFI, RFP, RFQ, PO to suppliers in accordance with the operating procedures and ERP SystemResponsible for on‑time deliveries, shipping document and expedition as requiredResponsible for maintaining data integrity on the system databaseLiaise with all relevant stakeholders with clarity to ensure there is no detrimental effect on quality, cost, or deliveriesContinuously working with Senior Buyer or Manager to minimise supply chain risk and issuesMaintaining suppliers or partners compliance while working collaborativelyFunctional AccountabilitiesManaging RFQsReceipt of RFQs from Internal Customers, checking and confirming details as necessaryArranging Non‑Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), as necessaryIssuance of RFQs and follow up receipt of compliant vendor quotationsPreparing Cost Comparisons and achieving required Cost Reduction LevelsManaging ProjectsLiaising with Project Coordinator (PC) for preparation of PO to suppliersIssuing PO to Vendors and following up receipt of compliant acknowledgementProactive in maintaining schedule regularlyExpediting deliveries, if required, and eliminating any delaysOrganizing shipment of goods to Customer/Project Sites as necessaryHanding of all project administration in association with PC and ensuring all records kept up to dateVendor ManagementSourcing new competitive, quality vendorsFollow Vendor Approval process and upkeep of database/folderManaging requirements for NDAsRecommending supplier development for categories and specific strategic suppliersEstablishing and maintaining key supplier portfolio, working closely with technical team to maintain good level of qualityAdministrationResponsible in any relevant administrative duties such asData input and maintaining data integrity on system databasesIssuance of RFQ and PO to suppliers in accordance with the operating procedures and ERP SystemMaintaining Key RelationshipsWorking closely with internal technical teams to source cost effective and high‑quality goods and services, to ensure project design specifications are fulfilledWorking closely with Global Sourcing Teams to ensure all requirements are metGeneral Employee AccountabilitiesBring full effort to complete tasks assigned by managerGive manager best adviceGive earliest notice when work cannot be delivered as specifiedCooperate and collaborate with peers and interact cross‑organizationally as specified by managerExemplify Company Core Values: Integrity, Client Focus, Teamwork, and Personal Commitment to drive ProgressComply with all Company policies, practices, and procedures and all regulations and lawsFormulate recommendations for improvement proactivelyEnsure effective utilization of business tools and processesMinimum QualificationsDegree or equivalent in Business Administration, Engineering, or Manufacturing processes3 years of experience working in procurement environmentDemonstrated working knowledge of the procurement processKnowledge of procurement in the industrial /oil & gas / iron & steel / renewable sectorsDemonstrated successful analytical and communication skillsDemonstrated successful planning, coordination and organization skillsDemonstrated ability to prioritize (high risk items) and multi‑taskDemonstrated successful working relationships with clients, suppliers, and other internal and external contactsProficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPointFluency in English languageAvailability to travel domestically and internationally, approximately 5%–10%, sometimes, with limited noticePreferred QualificationsCIPS (Chartered Procurement) qualification or equivalent is a plus, but not mandatoryAbility to read Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) Drawing is an advantageProficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPointWorking proficiency in another European language is an advantageWorking proficiency in Oracle is a plus, but not mandatory#J-18808-Ljbffr
