THE ROLE You will be working in a multi-disciplinary group, where people with different backgrounds collaborate, each with their own expertise, to support IIT research activity. The Management Control Directorate manages the planning and control activities and is coordinated by Andrea Caporali. Within the team, your main responsibilities will be: management of projects budget, interacting with the Projects Office Collaborating in the planning and controlling processes of IIT in coordination with other Directorates and including the preparation of supporting documents and reports; Interacting with other colleagues in the office and with budget owners in order to monitor expenses supporting in the management of the chart of accounts, cost centers and other coding items interaction with other colleagues in the Office and with other Directorates on operational activities that have an impact on budget and related matters ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS A master’s or bachelor’s degree in Economics, Administration and Management or a similar discipline Good knowledge of the English language Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel Strong focus on stakeholder needs and expectations ADDITIONAL SKILLS Experience in Management/Control/Budget Departments of mid and large sized organizations Ability to work in a challenging and international environment Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively in a highly interdisciplinary environment Possess analytical reasoning skills and a growth mindset COMPENSATION PACKAGE A yearly gross salary ranging from 24k and 29k, depending on seniority (which may include a bonus option depending on your role and contract) Two days of agile/remote working per week and flexible working hours Candidate holding a bachelor’s or master’s degree who have not been resident in Italy in the last 3 years and move back to Italy to start any work activity, and meet specific requirements, can benefit from a 50% deduction on their income.
