We support the on-site installation, maintenance and planning of our industry-leading products for our global customers.Take ownership for customer installations and maintenanceAs a Mechanical Field Service Engineer, you will play a vital role onsite with our customers. Leading the installation and maintenance activities, you will work with customers to troubleshoot issues and ensure safe and compliant installations. You will be the onsite expert, continually developing your knowledge and skills to deliver innovative solutions for customers.As a Mechanical Field Service Engineer - Heavy Duty / Aero Gas Turbine Specialist, you will be responsible for:Providing technical direction for site activities to internal teams and skilled labour to ensure safety, compliance and qualityOverseeing, overhaul, troubleshooting and commissioning of Gas Turbine products at customer sitesPreparing and updating technical documentation, plans, daily and weekly briefing reports for customers and internal cross-functional teamsEnsuring internal training, compliance and quality documentation is updated, followed and completed according to company standardsQualifications Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Demonstrate a good working knowledge of the installation and maintenance of rotating equipmentHave experience working in a mechanical role in an energy or oil and gas environment (or similar)Display a solid customer service-orientation mindset, experienced leading customers through tough decisionsBe skilled at communicating complex technical information to customers and teams with varying levels of technical understandingHave excellent command and understanding of verbal and written English and Italian and hold an EU PassportBe ready to travel significantly (up to 70%) without geographical restriction, including offshore facilitiesWork style and flexibility Work in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
