Overview: Our client, a Milan-based alternative investment manager with ~€2 billion in assets and strong roots in renewable energy and infrastructure, is embarking on a strategic expansion into the digital infrastructure domain. This new platform will deploy a €500 million fund over coming months targeting data centres, fibre networks, edge / space infrastructure across Western Europe Key Responsibilities: Market research, screening, financial modelling, and due diligence in digital infrastructure sectors Support transaction execution, structuring, and integration Assist in coordinating technical, operational, legal, regulatory inputs Help build internal frameworks / playbooks for digital infrastructure investments Report on performance, risk, and sector trends to senior team Candidate Profile: 3–5 years in private equity, strategy consulting, infrastructure finance, or advisory (preferably with some tech / telecom / energy overlap) Experience in Western Europe, ideally across multiple markets (e.g. Italy, Germany, France, Nordics). Fluent English, Italian. Strong analytical, modelling, and commercial sense Curiosity for technology infrastructure (data centres, fibre, connectivity) Ability to work in a growing team and adapt to entrepreneurial, dynamic context Bonuses, carry expectations should be discussed
