Senior Consultant I Italy Onshore RenewablesOur client, a leading international Independent Power Producer (IPP), is seeking a Project Developer to join its growing development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of Solar PV and BESS projects, overseeing the full permitting process from early‑stage development through first and second‑level authorisations. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic, international environment and contribute directly to the expansion of a high‑quality renewable energy project pipeline in Italy.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support the development of Solar PV and BESS projects from origination through readiness‑to‑build.Manage the permitting and authorisation process, including first‑level and second‑level approvals, in compliance with Italian regulatory frameworks.Coordinate with local authorities, consultants, grid operators, landowners, and other stakeholders.Support environmental, technical, and grid connection studies required for project development.Monitor project timelines, risks, and milestones, ensuring alignment with internal development objectives.Collaborate closely with internal teams (engineering, legal, grid, and investment) and external advisors.Prepare documentation and reports for internal decision‑making and investment committees.RequirementsBachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.1‑2 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, preferably in project development, permitting, or environmental authorisations.Solid understanding of the Italian permitting framework for renewable energy projects (Solar and/or BESS).Fluent English (working language in an international environment); Italian fluency is assumed.Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Proactive, structured, and able to work both independently and within cross‑functional teams.Seniority LevelEntry levelEmployment TypeFull‑timeJob FunctionBusiness Development and Project Management#J-18808-Ljbffr
