We’re searching for a Project Manager to help us expand in Italy and build our network of charging stations there. You will join a growing team in the Construction Management department of Fastned. Together with 300 colleagues spread across Europe (40 nationalities and counting) we have big plans: we are building a Europe-wide network of 1 000 beautiful fast‑charging stations where electric drivers can charge their cars with energy from the sun and wind. If you want to make a difference and work in an informal international scale‑up environment with future prospects then read on Your Role As the Project Manager Construction you will be an integral part of an experienced international team and you will deal with all aspects of delivering high‑quality charging stations. In close cooperation with the Construction and Project Managers Italy and Construction Lead Emerging Markets, you will manage acquisition and realization of grid connections, collaborate with engineering partners, plan material supply and construction activities, monitor progress and payments, and coordinate with numerous internal and external stakeholders. The role involves site visits to business partners or locations, demonstrating negotiation skills, a hands‑on mentality, high quality standards, and an eye for detail. You will also support the pipeline team in site evaluations and due diligence. Electric mobility is new territory for you? No problem During onboarding you will participate in a series of workshops that cover everything important about electric mobility and fast‑charging infrastructure. Who we are looking for You are a real team player who can think on your own feet, take initiative and responsibility, learn from mistakes, and keep improving. Additionally you tick the following boxes: Degree in engineering/business or equivalent; experience or knowledge in construction is a plus but not required. Strong technical affinity. Ability to work in a structured way and prioritize tasks efficiently. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Excellent organisational skills and a high level of initiative. Ability to navigate and manage stakeholder dynamics. Willingness to travel within Italy and abroad. Near‑native level of Italian and business‑level English (a must). Driving licence.
