The role includes monitoring and supporting the business by facilitating the daily tasks and activities, the monthly actual close and quarterly reporting closure.Job Role and ResponsibilitiesSupport the Italian controlling & business teams during the close process which includes preparing, posting and reviewing journal entries, coordinating submissions, and supporting accounting questionsPrepare monthly journal entries and help with account reconciliationsAct as a main point of contact between local teams and Shared Service Center for due diligence and onboarding of new suppliers; provide training and assistance in PO creation, help on issues related to suppliers, support and clarification to external and internal business partnersIn cooperation with the Indirect Tax team in Shared Service Center, help ensure VAT compliance and VAT returns are correctly submitted and paid on time.
