Lead Engineer NTI / NPI Manifold Distribution and ConnectionBecome part of Baker Hughes Subsea Engineering division where we apply cutting‑edge technologies and robust engineering principles to transform offshore energy operations. Our team designs and delivers integrated subsea systems that support safe, efficient and sustainable exploration and production of hydrocarbons in challenging environments.ResponsibilitiesEstablish technical requirements based on customer functional specifications and project needs in compliance with international codes and standards.Lead and contribute on design development activities such as CAD modelling and / or FE assessments, document creation and review ensuring alignment with requirements and schedule.Work cross‑functionally with other teams and departments to align interfaces, design activities and deliverables.Present design outcomes in design reviews when and as relevant.Manage engineering suppliers on technical aspects, providing guidance and ensuring compliance to applicable technical contractual requirements.Provide engineering support to program management, planning, quality and other stakeholders.Support the sourcing team through procurement, manufacturing and test of designed products.Provide consultancy advice to the engineering tender teams to correctly identify and select the portfolio products that best suit the required tender specifications.QualificationsMaster’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.Expert in 3D CAD modelling and / or Finite Element Analysis.Subsea equipment knowledge and relevant design methodologies (desired).Robust mechanical design background.Proactive and willing to take ownership and responsibility.Strong oral and written communication skills fluent in English.Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.Benefits and Flexible WorkWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone.
