To learn more about our dynamic, stable and growing company, visit Warehouse Shipping Coordinator performs warehouse shipping duties as needed to support plant operations by setting up and monitoring all outbound orders, ensuring all paperwork and recorded data is accurate, and ensuring all finished product is correctly following strict FIFO procedures. Directly reports to the Warehouse Manager for proper direction, interpretation, and evaluation of work responsibilities. Maintains and guarantees Balchem Corporation’s quality and safety standards.Maintain records of all outgoing shipments from the warehouses; prepare shipping documents such as FG Reservations, bills of lading, packing lists, etc. to route products.Maintain the automated inventory management system (D365) to ensure that actual physical inventory matches all staged/stored finished productArrange all shipments entering and leaving the plant facility, Export, Domestic, Rail, LTL, MRO & Maintenance Supplies. Etc.Maintain Shipment Calendar and report out dailyPerform all UPS shipments; record shipment data such as, weight, charges, damages and discrepancies for reporting, accounting, and record-keeping purposesConfer and correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems i.e. damage and non-conformance to specificationsMaintain physical record documentation of all inbound and outbound shipments.Assist with inventory control (ex: expired ingredients and research and development inventory), monitoring product transfer transactions, and communicate our needs with outside storage facilities when necessaryObserve safety and security procedures, determine appropriate action beyond guidelines, and report potentially unsafe conditionsReport to your Manager/Supervisor any failure to adhere to Balchem Corporation work ethics and standardsPerform other duties as assignedAdhere to all Company policies and procedures, i.e. personnel, safety, and equipment maintenance and upkeepBecome proficient in areas of production and safety policies and procedures (accident/injury reporting, blood borne pathogens, confined spaces, emergency evacuation, equipment operation/maintenance, hazard communication, ladders, lockout/tag out, personal protective equipment, etc.)Qualifications1 to 2 years of previous logistics experience (shipping/receiving/warehouse management, etc.) requiredAssociate degree is desirable or equivalent combination of education and experienceComputer literacy required with experience in warehouse inventory management systems, such as MRP/ERPTwo to four years of experience in a production facility, and knowledge in supply chain management or equivalent experienceIndividual must be equipped with strong motivation, organization, time management, documentation, and communication skills (both orally and written)The ability to utilize common sense and skills in completing responsibilities and operating equipment conforming to company production, personnel, and safety procedures is neededIndividual should possess the ability to read and comprehend written instructions, write correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organizationThe ability to communicate and handle conflict in a professional manner is necessaryThe ability to give and welcome feedback and contribute to building a positive team spirit is requiredIndividual must be able to work overtime when requiredWorking ConditionsWork is mostly sedentary but does require standing, walking, and some liftingOperate typical office equipment such as computer, calculator and typewriterWork is conducted mostly in an office setting, but a small portion will be conducted in the warehouses during year end counts, etc.Balchem is committed to a workplace culture that values and promotes diversity, inclusion, equal employment opportunities, and a work environment free of harassment and hostility.#J-18808-Ljbffr
