On behalf of an Investment Management Group within renewable infastructures, we are looking for a:Senior Project ManagerThe ideal candidate has gained extensive experience in solar PV project management and construction. He/She will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of solar PV projects, from initial pre-construction activities through to commissioning and handoverThe Senior Project Manager ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. Moreover, he/she coordinates multidisciplinary teams, manages stakeholder relationships, and navigates complex construction permitting and regulatory environments to drive project success.Key Responsibilities:Manage all phases of PV plant projects, in particular engineering, procurement and pre-construction activities;Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery;Coordinate and manage all activities related to photovoltaic plant projects, overseeing project planning and ensuring compliance with timelines, budgets, and quality standards;Supervise and coordinate multidisciplinary internal and external teams, external contractors, and consultants to achieve project milestones;Monitoring the pre-construction and construction authority permits;Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality (HSE/Q) standards throughout all project stages;Manage relationships with suppliers, public authorities and other stakeholders to secure construction permits and approvals;Monitor project budget and control expenses;Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to avoid delays and cost overruns;Monitor and report on project progress, financial performance, and deliverables using project management tools;Support contract negotiations and ensure all project documentation is maintained and compliant;Source and select suppliers and subcontractors for project execution;Support the Procurement Dpt during the project phases;Prepare the weekly and monthly progress reports.Requirements:Extensive experience in solar PV project management and construction or renewable energy (5+ years);Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities;Proven expertise in project planning, budgeting, and risk management;In-depth knowledge of the solar industry’s technical, regulatory, and safety standards;Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously;Degree in engineering, renewable energy, project management, or a related field;Strong skills in managing and coordinating multidisciplinary teams;Excellent planning, problem-solving, and budget management abilitiesOutstanding communication and interpersonal skills;Willingness to travel nationally;Nice to have: experience in BESS projects, recognised certification, such as PMP (certified construction manager), AC (associate constructor), or CPC (certified professional constructor).Location: Rome.Seniority level Mid-Senior levelEmployment type Full-timeJob function Project Management and EngineeringIndustries Services for Renewable Energy and Electric Power GenerationGet notified about new Project Manager jobs in Rome, Latium, Italy .#J-18808-Ljbffr
