We are currently seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our Thermal Advance Engineering team in Piove di Sacco (PD), Italy He / She will be focused on Thermal products for Data Center cooling. He / She will play a crucial role in the electrical design of our innovative products. He / She will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and performance specifications in compliance with industry regulations. What kind of work will you be doing? Work in a multi-disciplinary engineering team on Thermal cooling units for Data Center, focusing on high-performance, cost-effective design and market leading innovation. Design new products or re-engineer existing ones, with focus on electrical design, collaborating with suppliers, Procurement and Industrial Engineering, being aware of the necessary product marketing inputs. Support product production transfer from and to other locations, interface with main center of expertise. Create and review product documentation (E-CAD drawings, specifications, bills of material). To meet objectives of cost, quality, environmental and time of execution, achieving the best trade-off between market and internal customer needs. Analyze and resolve technical problems as regards products under her / his responsibility. Competence in international electrical regulations and standards (CE / UL). Ability to communicate effectively across all regions to enhance global designs. What will make you successful? Technical Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Minimum 3+ years of experience as an Electrical Designer, preferably in the HVAC industry. Strong understanding of electrical design principles and practices. Excellent knowledge of ECAD & PLM systems, Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel). Knowledge of Active and Passive Filters for harmonics mitigation, Power Factor Correction and similar. Good knowledge of thermodynamics and refrigeration principles are desirable but not essential. English - Intermediate level - Written and spoken. Competences : result-oriented, team player, careful to details, flexible, attitude for teamwork. Strong communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills. Initiative : works independently and is highly motivated to initiate and accept new challenges. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
