RH is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to support the daily operations of the kitchen and uphold the high standards for which RH Hospitality is known. As a Kitchen Porter, you play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of the kitchen environment, ensuring an elevated experience for our guests and seamless support for the culinary team. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES \Ensure a pristine kitchen environment by upholding RH’s standards of sanitation and organization across the dish station, ingredient storage areas, trash collection areas and back-of-house spaces Deliver a high-quality experience by thoroughly and efficiently cleaning all plateware, glassware, silverware, cookware and utensils to support flawless service. Build foundational knowledge of RH’s menu items and ingredients to better support kitchen operations Collaborate with Team Members and Leaders to assist with daily food prep, inventory organization and other cleaning responsibilities as needed OUR REQUIREMENTS + year of experience in a high-volume, full-service culinary environment Basic knowledge of food safety standards Legal authorization to work in the country of application at time of hire Meets the minimum legal age required to serve alcohol, work designated shifts, and perform the full scope of kitchen responsibilities, in accordance with local labor and safety regulations Commitment to high standards of personal appearance, including adherence to uniform guidelines, grooming, and hygiene practices, to ensure a professional presentation to guests Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and variable shifts as business needs require Maintain heightened awareness and focus to support safety, flawless execution, and seamless coordination within the culinary team PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Frequent stooping, bending, and reaching, both overhead and below counter height Lifting or moving items up to kgs using appropriate equipment and safe handling techniques Standing and walking for extended periods as part of daily work activities Safely ascending and descending stairs, with or without carrying food, beverages, or service equipment Ongoing adherence to safety, sanitation, and food-handling standards in a commercial kitchen environment Sustaining focus and composure while working across high-temperature and low-temperature stations in a dynamic, high-energy setting #J-18808-Ljbffr
