In this role, you will conduct comprehensive navigation analysis to support cross‑functional decision‑making, define system architecture and requirements, contribute to the development of flight algorithms, and actively identify innovative technological opportunities that will drive significant enhancements to meet our customers' evolving demands.Export Control License: This position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Placement is contingent on Amazon’s ability to apply for and obtain an export control license on your behalf.Basic QualificationsPhD, or Master's degree and 4+ years of science, technology, engineering or related field experienceExperience programming in Java, C++, Python or related languageExperience implementing algorithms using tool and self‑developed codeExperience with navigation systems or aerospace applications, including signal processing, Kalman filtering, and navigation algorithm developmentPreferred QualificationsExperience in professional software developmentExperience in patents or publications at top‑tier peer‑reviewed conferences or journalsPrevious experience in the aerospace or signal processing industry.Expertise in filtering technologies, such as Kalman Filters.Proficiency in the simulation and analysis of navigation systemsFamiliarity with hardware/software integration and real‑time operating systems.Track record of developing complex, mission‑critical systems successfully delivered to customers.Experience in gathering requirements through effective communication with end users, business teams, and management.Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
