We’re looking for people who are determined to make life better for people around the world.Eli Lilly Italia is looking for an Associate – Facility Management to join our Engineering & Utilities team at the Sesto Fiorentino (FI) site.In this role, the Associate – Facility Management ensures that service providers deliver according to contractual agreements, driving efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement across site facilities. The position combines operational oversight with strategic contract management, contributing to the safe and reliable operation of the Sesto Fiorentino campus.Working closely with the Utilities Technical Team, external service providers, and internal stakeholders, the role supports asset integrity, cost control, and high service standards through proactive maintenance and performance management.Key Responsibilities Contract ManagementOversee routine and extraordinary maintenance of site buildings and non‑CCI systems, ensuring contract and cost compliance.Evaluate and recommend contract changes aligned with site needs.Review and approve provider proposals aimed at improving efficiency and energy performance.Monitor service provider KPIs and lead discussions on continuous improvement initiatives.Fit & FinishConduct and document facility walkthroughs as required by GMARS work orders.Ensure execution of Fit & Finish programs and coordinate maintenance based on production priorities and safety standards.Extraordinary MaintenanceEnsure compliance with safety regulations and oversee service provider coordination with external contractors.Supervise soft services and civil, architectural, and building finishing maintenance.Networking & BenchmarkingMaintain networks with other Lilly sites and represent the company within IFMA Italy.Share best practices and collaborate with the Utilities Technical Team to enhance outsourcing management.Budget ManagementAssess facility conditions and plan interventions to maintain compliance and efficiency.Contribute to the Facility’s Risk Assessment (RA) and manage the capital and operating budget, including CIRs and purchase orders.Basic RequirementsMaster’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related technical discipline.Minimum 2 years of experience in facilities or contract management.Good command of English (spoken and written).Knowledge of maintenance processes, contract management, and safety regulations.Additional Skills / PreferencesStrong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.Negotiation and vendor management abilities.Proactive, results‑oriented, and improvement‑focused mindset.Ability to work cross‑functionally and influence effectively.Lilly is dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities to actively engage in the workforce, ensuring equal opportunities when vying for positions.
