For our client, a multinational manufacturer of components for various industrial sectors, we are seeking a Plant Manager to lead a production site with approximately 300 employees. This role will ensure operational excellence, team leadership, and high performance in HSE, production, distribution, quality, process engineering, maintenance, and cost efficiency. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Oversee all manufacturing activities, ensuring delivery on-time, efficiency, continuity, and compliance with quality standards. Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily plant operations, ensuring effective use of human, technical, and material resources. Lead and manage a workforce of around 300 employees, supervising department managers and production teams. Performance & KPI Management Define, track, and improve key production KPIs (OEE, scrap&waste rate, productivity, downtime, lead time, OTDs, BO, Customer Claims). Develop and implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives (Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S). Ensure on-time delivery performance and adherence to quality requirements. Financial Management & P&L Contribute to the preparation of the plant’s annual operating budget and forecast management. Monitor and control direct and indirect costs, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and margin improvement. Support the VP Operations in overseeing the plant’s P&L and financial performance. Organization & Leadership Lead, motivate, and develop operational teams, fostering a collaborative, results-oriented, and safety-focused culture. Quality, Safety & Compliance Ensure full compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) regulations and company safety policies, procedures and certifications. Promote a strong safety culture through targeted initiatives, audits, and continuous training. Your Profile Role Requirements Education Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Materials, or similar). A Master’s degree or training in Operations Management is a plus. 8–10 years of managerial experience in complex manufacturing environments. Solid experience gained in complex industrial contexts. Proven experience managing plants with at least 150–200 employees. Expertise in production KPI analysis, manufacturing management, and Lean methodologies. Strong understanding of P&L dynamics and financial drivers of a manufacturing plant. Proficiency with ERP systems and digital production tools. Soft Skills Strong, inspirational leadership with a focus on people’s development. Ability to drive change and engage teams at all levels. Excellent organizational, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
