We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing transportation and logistics activities, ensuring on-time, accurate, and high-quality deliveries. This role involves close collaboration with warehouse personnel and customer service teams to guarantee full alignment between customer requirements and logistics execution. Job responsibilitiesTransportation ManagementManage and coordinate all transportation activities, including inbound and outbound shipments. Support in negotiating rates and contracts with carriers and freight forwarders to optimize transportation costs. Monitor carrier performance and address any service-related issues. Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and requirements. Implement and leverage Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to optimize routing, load planning, and freight tracking. Develop and implement strategies to reduce transportation costs and improve service levels. Warehouse CoordinationWork closely with warehouse staff to ensure that shipments are prepared and dispatched on time and meet quality standards. Monitor warehouse loading and dispatch activities to prevent delays or discrepancies. Support continuous improvement of internal logistics processes between warehouse and transportation. Customer Service AlignmentCollaborate with the Customer Service team to ensure full alignment between customer requirements, delivery schedules, and logistics execution. Proactively communicate any potential delays or issues affecting customer deliveries. Ensure that customer expectations in terms of timing, documentation, and delivery quality are consistently met. Documentation and ReportingMaintain accurate records of all logistics activities. Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as transportation costs and on-time delivery rates. Collaborate with finance and legal teams to ensure carriers adhere to import/export regulations and customs requirements. Verify that carriers accurately prepare and process all necessary shipping documents (e.g., bills of lading, customs declarations) in accordance with company and legal standards. Monitor carrier performance to ensure compliance with financial and regulatory obligations. Problem SolvingResolve logistics-related issues and escalated complex problems to appropriate stakeholders. Develop contingency plans to mitigate potential disruptions to the supply chain. ProfileBachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or warehouse coordination within a structured organizational environment. Proven ability to interact effectively with carriers, warehouse staff, and customer service teams. Fluency in English. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Experience with SAP and TMS systems is desirable. Knowledge of customs regulations and trade compliance is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
