The Green Recruitment Company is searching for a BESS Engineer to work in a European IPP to support the storage projects in Italy.The vacancy is based in Milan.The storage engineer will lead design and development of storage projects from the asset owner perspective.Responsibilities:Supervision of the Permitting and EPC storage projectsEstablish system architecture, identify critical components, and enhance battery performance to support grid stability, frequency control, and energy trading.Manage the selection of battery technologies, oversee system integration, and lead validation efforts to ensure compliance with safety and performance benchmarks.Draft and review technical documents, including detailed system schematics and specifications.Support the sales teams in setting up communication frameworks with Distribution System Operators (DSOs) and Transmission System Operators (TSOs) for service delivery.Supervision of the commissioning process and supporting the budget planning (Capex and Opex).Support the evaluation of project risks and contribute to refining technical strategies for optimal outcomes.Work closely with multidisciplinary teams—such as project management, procurement, construction, and operations—to drive smooth and efficient project delivery.Offer guidance and technical expertise to junior engineers and team members, fostering their professional growth and development.Requirements:More than 5 years of experience with utility-scale BESS projects.Broad knowledge, skills and experience of large-scale projects.Professional Experience with CAD software.Fluency in English#J-18808-Ljbffr
