Together, our employees in North America and Europe work to provide Flexjet aircraft Owners with the finest experience in premium private jet travel.POSITION SUMMARYThe Helicopter Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs including airframe structures, engines and aircraft systems. The Helicopter Maintenance Technician will make repairs and conduct tests to keep equipment operating efficiently and safely. This position will be based in Linate Airport, Milan.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESPrincipally working on Sikorsky S76 C++ Helicopters with opportunities to assist with the company’s fixed wing fleet as required.Perform all airframe and powerplant repairs and modifications required to meet company and regulatory requirementsRemove and disassemble defective parts; assemble and install of replacement parts and testing aircraft systemOperate all power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignmentsComplete all required maintenance records in an accurate manner to include accurately reporting of times required to accomplish the tasks assignedMust support all company policies and safety programs to include OSHA and EPA regulationsInterpret technical manuals, drawings and blueprintsPresent a clean and neat work areaDemonstrate professionalism and deliver satisfaction to the internal/external customerPerform other related duties & responsibilities as assignedEDUCATION & EXPERIENCEB1.3 license for rotary aircraft required (S76 Type Training will be provided)EASA LicenseProven experience directly related aviation experience (corporate aircraft experience preferred)Good working knowledge of EASA: Part 145, Part M, Part CAMO, Part 21REQUIRED SKILLSMust possess the legal ability to work in Europe and have the ability to travel all cities/countries where Flexjet serves.Successful candidate will be highly motivated and work effectively under pressure and time constraintsMust have the ability to multi-task within a team environmentStrong working knowledge of Windows and MS Office programsPossess proven inspection competenciesMust be detail-oriented and well organized; demonstrate excellent communication skills, and a positive attitudeSuccessful candidate will ideally have own set of hand tools. Specialized aircraft tooling will be furnished by the companyMust maintain a valid driver’s licenseWORK ENVIRONMENTWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme weather conditions.
